Evil Twin Attack

Create a fake WiFi network with the same name as a legitimate one. Victims connect to YOUR network thinking it's real.

# Using hostapd-wpe
sudo apt install hostapd-wpe -y
# Create fake AP with same SSID as target
sudo hostapd-wpe /etc/hostapd-wpe/hostapd-wpe.conf

Once connected, you can:

• See all their web traffic
• Show fake login pages (captive portal)
• Perform MITM attacks

WPS PIN Attack

sudo reaver -i wlan0mon -b TARGET_BSSID -vv

WPS PINs are only 8 digits — brute forceable in 4-10 hours. Many routers still have WPS enabled by default!

Karma Attack

Devices constantly broadcast "Are you there, Home_WiFi?". A KARMA attack responds "Yes, I'm here!" to ALL probes, connecting devices automatically.

Packet Injection

sudo aireplay-ng -9 wlan0mon

Inject packets into a network you're not connected to — the foundation of most wireless attacks.

Defense Measures

• ❌ Disable WPS immediately
• 🔒 Use WPA3 if available
• 📱 Forget saved WiFi networks
• 🔐 Use VPN on all WiFi
